Nielsen: the consumer confidence index was not this high since 2010
The Nielsen Consumer Confidence Index has reached a record level in the last period in Hungary.
During the first quarter survey of this year the Nielsen Consumer Confidence Index rose by another three points, compared to the fourth quarter, and stands on 54 points. Greater consumer confidence index in Hungary (59 points) was only measured in the fourth quarter of 2010.
Overall, the 54-point Hungarian consumer confidence index is below the European average, which is the fourth quarter rose from 73 points to 75.
