NGM: the trade surplus continues to grow
The Ministry of National Economy expects a further, slow balance improvement and foreign trade surplus significantly higher than in the last year. The analysts polled by MTI agreed with the forecasts and expect 7 billion euros, or more surplus for this year.
According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office; the export value of the first seven-months was 46 billion euros (12,403 billion HUF), while the value of import was 42 billion euros (11,270 billion HUF), the volume of exports, increased by 12, imports by 10 percent, compared to tle levels of the previous year, so the balance of trade surplus became 4.209 billion euros (1,132 billion HUF) 1.226 billion euros (317 billion HUF), more than in the same period of 2010 – reports MTI.
