Since Hungary joined to the European Union – around 330 billion HUF non-refundable support was given to the Hungarian tourism industry between 2004 and 2013, which is 4.3 percent of all EU fundings that were available for the country – Horváth Viktória Deputy Minister of State for the Tourism of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) explained to MTI.
Horváth Viktória added that between 2004 and 2013, about 1360 projects were funded.
