The Conciliation Forum of the Chambers of Commerce held its first meeting this year, and Márton Nagy encouraged the members to develop proposals supporting the restoration of economic growth, the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) announced in its announcement on Monday.
Minister of National Economy Márton Nagy convened for the fifth time the Conciliation Forum of the Chambers of Commerce, which since its establishment in January 2023 – in addition to the coordination of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) – has been operating as the government’s economic policy advisory and consultative body – it was explained.
The main agenda items of the forum, formed by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers, the National Association of Hungarian Manufacturers, the National Association of Construction Contractors, AmCham Hungary and the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, are the steps necessary to restore economic growth, the it was created by outlining short and long-term challenges.
According to the announcement, Márton Nagy thanked the chambers for their continued partnership and constructive dialogue during the consultation, as the representatives of the chambers have actively helped the government’s work with their suggestions and feedback.
