NGM: there will not be a new deadline
The deadline of the online cash register replacement will not change to 31 May 2014 – the National Economy Ministry (NGM) told.
The NGM said that even in the case of the PC-based cash registers, the deadline remains 31 December 2013. Currently it is only one PC-based cash register type on the market that was approved by the Hungarian Trade Licensing Office. However, the note of NGM does not confute the information of Népszabadság, that the cash registers will no longer have to be ordered from the dealers, but through the National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV). If this will happen, the entrepreneurs can choose from an official central cash register list.
