The Széchenyi Rest Cards have a very important role in the in promotion of domestic traveling The usage of the Széchenyi Rest Cards expands from 1 July – the press release of the Ministry of National Economy states.

The number of the Széchenyi Rest Cards and the number of Széchenyi Rest Card-users continue to rise. In 2012, 72 billion employer uploads were received to the the Széchenyi Rest Cards of about 765 thousand employers. In the first five months of 2013 34 billion HUF has been allocated to the new cards, while the number of cardholders reached 840 thousand.  (Nemzetgazdasági Minisztérium, kormany.hu)
