NGM: tourism performed outstandingly in 2013

The number of guest nights at the domestic commercial accomodiations and the number of guests reached a record in 2012. In 2013 an improvement could be observed in case of all the relevant indicators – the Ministry of National Economy (MNE) drew attention on Monday, on the basis of the datas of the Central Statistics Office (KSH).

According to the Central Statistics Office (KSH), in 2013, a total of 8.83 million guest spent 22.8 million guest nights at commercial accomodiations. The number of visitors was 5.3, the number of guest nights was 4.6 percent higher than in 2012. The gross revenue of the commercial accomodiations was nearly 298 billion HUF, 9.9 percent more than in 2012.
