NGM: The number of Chinese tourists coming to Hungary increases dynamically

The number of Chinese tourists arriving to Hungary increasing dynamically from year to year, and this year the increase is greater than ever: According to the January-September data, the increase in the number of guests exceeded 20 percent – Ruszinkó Ádám, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) responsiblefor Tourism told MTI on Wednesday.

Ruszinkó Ádám emphasized that the ministry is working to attrcat more and more tourists to Hungary from the Asian country. Last year, nearly 75 thousand guests spent almost 140 thousand guest nights, which is a 9 percent increase, compared to the previous year. This year, in the first nine months a significant 20 percent increase was achieved in the number of visitors, while teh number of guest nights increased by 15 percent – he added. (MTI)
