NGM State Secretary: the restoration of consumption and the credit market is among the most important economic policy goals
The state secretary responsible for economic strategy, financial resources and macroeconomic analysis of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) listed the restoration of consumption and the credit market, the resumption of investment activity, the increase of labor market activity and the gradual reduction of the budget deficit as the most important economic policy goals in the Figyelő Top 200 – North Hungary daily at Thursday’s economic development conference in Miskolc.
Máté Lóga mentioned the Food Industry Supplier Development Program, the Vehicle Industry Supplier Development Program or the Defense Industry Development Program among the economic revitalization programs, and noted that special attention is also paid to maintaining high export activity.
He talked about the support of agriculture and the hospitality industry, mentioning the modernization of the tourinform offices, which play a prominent role in the organization of local tourism, and the Musical Hungary Program.
He said that the economy has already begun to grow this year, a GDP growth of more than 2 percent is expected for the whole year, which exceeds the average of the European Union countries, and this trend will continue next year.
