NGM: the Széchenyi Rest Card is the “ventilator” of tourism
The Széchenyi Rest Card is the “ventilator” of tourism and as the domestic tourism industry needs more impetus, the employers should be encouraged to provide more such benefits to their workers – Horváth Viktória Deputy Secretary of State, responsible for tourism told at the meeting of the Lake Balaton Development Council on Friday in Balatonfüred.
Describing the government’s tourism development concepts, she added that the medical service based tourism should be strenghtened as well as the cooperation between the sectors (leisure, economy, economy based on the elderly).
She told that in the period between 2014 and 2020, there will be sources for tourism, but neither the European Union nor the professional policies are supporting the funding for capacity development, unless when it is clearly necessary. (MTI)
