Nézőpont Institute: We will have a more economical Christmas
According to the survey of the Nézőpont Institute; 53 percent of respondents will spend less for Christmas shopping this year than last year, and just 7 percent of them pay significantly more money for Christmas.
According to the public opinion research institute; eight out of ten surveyed spend less than 30 thousand HUF this year for Christmas. The survey shows, that 64 percent of the Hungarians celebrate in a small family circle, and 16 percent pays attention to the distant relatives on the 24th of December. 7 percent of the respondents will spend Christmas Eve alone, of which 9 percent is women. For men this figure is 4 percent. 3 percent of the respondents will work on Christmas Eve – reports MTI.
