The Direct Marketing Association will change its name
The Direct Marketing Association (Direkt Marketing Szövetség) has chosen a new name. The association successfully working for 17 years, in the future will operates under the Direct and Interactive Marketing Association (Direkt és Interaktív Marketing Szövetség) name. With the change, the association wants to indicate the change in its direct marketing methods and tools the new directions of the sector, but will not forget the well-established, classical roots either.
The name change is justified, that the new technologies are creating more opportunities for interactivity and feedback is offered on more and more channels. Interactivity is not a new word in the field of direct marketing, but complementing the name of the association means that they define online and TTL solutions, based on direct communication as part of the profession.
