Russia has become a net food exporter
Russian agriculture closed a historic year last year. For the first time since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia has become a net food exporter – origo wrote.
Last year, Russia exported 79 million tons of food products, totaling 30.7 billion USD – according to RT.com, on the basis of the data of the AgroExport Center of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture. Russian food imports, meanwhile worth 29.7 billion USD. (origo)
