Nestlé’s Brazilian expansion
Since demand has increased for quality pet food in Brazil, Nestlé decided to build a pet food factory in Riberirato Preto. The project will cost USD 86 million and the new Purina plant’s output will be 30,000 tons. Laurent Freixe, Nestlé’s executive vice president of Zone Americas told that they see great potential in the premium pet food segment.
