Nestlé To Step Up Pet Food Production In The US And Australia
Nestlé Purina has announced plans to expand its pet food production facility in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
The company plans to add new processing and packaging lines in its Mechanicsburg production unit and hire around 94 additional employees.
The Mechanicsburg factory manufactures many of the company’s flagship brands, including Purina ONE, Purina Pro Plan, Fancy Feast, Dog Chow and Cat Chow.
Purina has pledged to invest more than $167 million (€140.8 million) into the project within the next three years, the company added.
