Nescafé Plan: 500 million Swiss franc investment for Nestlé coffee related developments
Nestlé Nescafe launched its Nescafé Plan program in Mexico City. The project measures show Nestlé’s commitment, in connection with coffee cultivation, production and consumption.
The Nescafé Plan is made up elements, that enable Nestlé to further optimize the coffee supply chain. Over the past 10 years, Nestlé invested 200 million Swiss francs into coffee related investments. In addition the company will pay a further 500 million Swiss francs until 2020, for coffee-related investments (350 million francs as the part of the Nescafe plan, the remaining 150 million is related to Nespresso).
