Domestic destinations are popular
According to the KSH, the price of domestic holidays increased by 8 percent in one year, however, according to a survey, the number of Hungarians planning a vacation increased from 59 to 64 percent last year – penzcentrum.hu wrote. Respondents spend an average of 9 days for this year’s holiday, one day longer than in the last two years.
Domestic destinations are still the most popular, with 73 percent of the respondents going to such a trip, nearly one third choosing Lake Balaton. Holiday goers intend to spend a bit more than last year, 169 thousand HUF on average for this year’s holiday and 22 percent of them pays with Cafeteria payment is paid for the holiday – according to a survey commissioned by Budapest Bank.
