White wines are becoming more popular
According to the data of the Agricultural Research Institute, the domestic sales volume of the protected geographical indication wines grew by four percent in first five months of 2015, compared to the same period of last year. The demand for white wines increased by ten percent compared to a year before. The sales of red and rosé wines decreased by two percent in the observed period.
The processing sales price of the domestically-produced wines was eight percent higher during the January to May period in 2015 than a year before. The price of white wines increased by five percent, while the price of red and rosé wines rose by 12 percent in the period. (by our colleague)
