Primark is preparing for a major innovation
Primark, the international fashion department store, will open its first store in Hungary on May 28, 2024. The opening of Primark’s new store is an exciting step for the Hungarian market and is probably just the beginning, as the company is constantly expanding worldwide. The company strives to meet customer needs by introducing new services and developments. One such innovation is the click and collect service, which allows customers to select products online and then pick them up at a selected store at a predetermined time.
Primark has announced that it will roll out the service to all its stores in England, Wales and Scotland following a successful trial. According to the company’s plans, this option will be available in all 184 stores in the United Kingdom by the end of 2025, but Northern Ireland is an exception for now.
The new service offers a wide selection of over 3,000 products, including women’s and children’s clothing, accessories, and now also men’s clothing and home lifestyle items. The click and collect service is free, but a purchase of at least £10, approximately HUF 4,500, is required to use it.
