The Kissabel apples are popular

This year’s crop was particularly successful among the French-grown, red-colored apple varieties – origo quotes the Ifored Consortium that distributes the Kissabel brand. The protected varieties are grown in France, Germany, Spain and Italy, as well as in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the USA.

The new brand was launched in October at the Fruit Attraction exhibition in Madrid.

The Kissabel Yellow, Kissabel Orange, and Kissabel Red were named after their skin color, so they are yellow, orange and red.

For the time being, there is no news of when the product will be available in domestic stores.
