On September 18, MÜPA once again hosted the Marketing Summit Budapest, which this year brought together more than 2,000 domestic and international marketing and communication professionals, as well as professional and business decision-makers. Participants were able to listen to presentations by more than 160 renowned domestic and international speakers in four rooms. The main sponsor of the event was Rossmann Hungary, which contributed to bringing the world’s leading marketing knowledge home as a prominent partner of the international stage.
This year, for the first time, a separate international room was also included at the Marketing Summit, the program of which attracted interested parties from more than 20 countries. Professionals joining from abroad were able to follow the presentations of the international stage live via online stream, making the event a true international knowledge-sharing platform.

The fundamental professional goal of the Marketing Summit Budapest this year was once again to share the latest international knowledge. The President of the Hungarian Marketing Association (MMSZ), Ferenc Hinora, highlighted: “The Marketing Summit Budapest proved that our country can also be a worthy home for world-leading presentations, and it also provided a unique opportunity for outstanding figures in the Hungarian profession to present themselves on the international stage.”
The event attracted participants from over 20 countries, including Austria, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Ireland, Poland, Great Britain, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland and Slovenia.
The Summit’s audience of over 2,000 people took over the entire MÜPA building, where the Continental Stage, the Sectorial Stage, the Digital Marketing Stage and the Brands & Youth Stage hosted the presentations. The program featured nearly 20 renowned international experts in addition to 160 domestic and international speakers.
Those who missed a presentation can watch the conference’s professional presentations and roundtable discussions at any time during the year on the Summit Play online platform.
Following the daytime programs, the Summit Awards Evening was of particular importance this year as well, where the best in the Hungarian communication and marketing profession were recognized. Awards such as the Hungarian Marketer of The Year, the Tonk Emil Lifetime Achievement Award, the Signature40, the TOP 50 most successful PR professional, the TOP50 marketing manager, and the Green Pledge competition awards were presented at the prestigious event.
On the TOP50 marketing manager list, Ágnes Anita Varga was 12th, on the Signature40 FMCG thematic list, Adél Sifter, Rossmann’s PR specialist, was 2nd, and on the Signature40 overall list, Laura Buza, Rossmann’s marketing campaign manager, was 36th, and Adél Sifter was 12th. In addition, Rossmann also participated in the professional program, with Laura Buza sharing her thoughts in the roundtable discussion titled “Branding at the moment of the purchase decision – Where is brand value born today?”
The Marketing Summit Budapest was organized by the Hungarian Marketing Association, co-organized by the Positive Adamsky advertising agency group, and the award ceremony was co-organized by the Marketing & Media trade magazine. The organizers of the event are committed to presenting the role of marketing, providing professional support, and disseminating good practices domestically and internationally.
