International cooking competition in Stuttgart, with many Hungarian participants
The IKA/Culinary Olympiad was held for the 26th time as part of the INTERGASTRA fair. With more than 1,200 participants from 55 nations and around 7,000 menus over four days, the long-standing IKA/Culinary Olympiad was once again a great success as a cooking competition of superlatives.
All participants gave very interesting presentations and sensitively presented what real culinary art is like. The next 27th IKA/Culinary Olympiad will take place again in Stuttgart and again in parallel with INTERGASTRÁ in 2026. This time, the Finnish team won the gold medal of the national teams, the Swedish team defended the Olympic champion title of the youth national teams, and two gold medals were awarded in the community catering category to the Finnish “Compass Group Culinary Team” and the Swiss “Swiss Armed Forces Culinary Team / SACT “. for. In the Culinary Art and Confectionery category, the South Korean regional team “PaisWorld Culinary Team Korea” won the gold medal.
Hungarian chefs also took part in the competition and received numerous awards.
