D8 Hotel Budapest is opening a new, exciting chapter in its operations: the city center hotel joins voco hotels, the dynamically growing premium brand of IHG Hotels & Resorts. The transition represents a renewal of the hotel, which simultaneously strengthens its international presence and enriches the hotel offering in Budapest with a fresh, distinctive premium experience.

Voco hotels aim to stand out from the crowd: the brand combines the security of a global background with the unique character of each hotel. Known for its informal yet quality hospitality, voco hotels offer a warm, no-frills premium experience that truly comes alive in the attentive details, direct service and strong local ties.

Located in the heart of the city, D8 Hotel Budapest has built a loyal clientele over the years with its clean design, excellent location and easy-going atmosphere. As part of the voco™ brand, the hotel will retain its unique personality while benefiting from IHG’s global systems, sales network and loyalty program, giving international travelers another reason to explore Budapest.

In parallel with the rebranding, the hotel will undergo a multi-phase renovation program starting in spring 2026. The modernization will affect the rooms, public spaces, catering units and operational back-office areas, focusing on improving comfort and space utilization. The hotel will remain partially open during the works.
