NÉBIH forms part of international operation
Between November 2015 and February 2016 the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) participated in ‘OPSON V’, an international operation against food fraud conducted in 57 countries. In these countries more than 10,000 tons of fake food and 1 million litres of fake drink were seized. NÉBIH experts found 243 tons and 17,000 litres of hazardous food and drinks.
