Donut festival in Pilisszentkereszt which has a majority Slovak ethnic
The housewives of Pilisszentkereszt are preparing for a Winter Farewell Donaut Festival: they are training for the minority festival that will be held on Saturday to break the record of two years ago when they baked 6,000 donuts.
The festival is announced by the Slovak local government. Its location will be the Pilisi Szlovákok Központja (Centre of Slovaks in the Pilis), where they can receive 800 guests. The center was built with the co-financing of the Hungarian and the Slovak government last year.
The all-day festival’s program includes fair, folk dance groups, concerts and donut-eating competition. The main act will be Charlie on the evening. (MTI)
