National Company Database: German interests dominate among the foreign-owned firms in Hungary

Among the Hungarian companies more than 40 thousand enterprises can be connected to foreign owners.

The German companies and private individuals have the highest proportion in the National Company Database among the foreign owned firms, followed by Ukraine and Romania – the communication of the BCE Nemzeti Cégtár Nonprofit (NCT) Zrt. (BCE National Company Database Nonprofit Ltd.).

On the Top 20 list of the foreign owned Hungarian companies several exotic offshore countries can also be found. (MTI)
