Prices in the EU and in the euro zone increased slightly
Inflation rose slightly in December in the euro zone and in the European Union – the EU's statistical office, the Eurostat announced on Tuesday.
Compared to the previous year, consumer prices rose by 0.2 percent in December in the euro zone, so inflation slightly increased, compared to the 0.1 percent in November. A year before in December 2014, consumer prices has decreased by 0.2 percent annually. (MTI)
