A rich Christmas is expected in Germany
The Germans spend a total of 76.9 billion euros on Christmas gifts in November and December this year, 2.5 percent more than last year. According to the HDE retail association; this is the strongest growth since 2004.
The Deloitte LLP, also believes that retail sales will increase, while it is decreasing in most of the European countries.
The Germans still traditionally spend less for Christmas presents, than the residents of other countries in Europe. The amount of spending per customer for a year in Germany will be 470 euros while in Luxembourg it will be 1200 euros – reports Világgazdaság Online, after Bloomberg.
