Beer can become 30 percent more expensive in Germany
Beer pricws could rise by as much as 30 percent this year, according to estimates by the Confederation of German Breweries (Deutscher Brauer-Bund, DBB) published this Wednesday.
The rise in costs result in “prices increasing beyond imagination, prices are skyrocketing,” Holger Eichele, CEO of DBB, told Bild, explaining that electricity prices increased by 250 percent, malt malt up 70 percent and pallets up 150 percent, compared to last year. (MTI)
