Inflation reached a 13-year high in August in Germany

Consumer prices in Germany rose nearly four percent in August
According to preliminary data from Destatis released on Monday, consumer prices rose 3.9 percent year-on-year in August from 3.8 percent in July and stagnated compared to July, when the monthly rise was 0.9 percent.
Analysts also predicted annual inflation of 3.9 percent and a 0.1 percent increase in consumer prices compared to July. (MTI)
