German newspaper opinion: the surtax do not discriminate the foreign companies
Handelsblatt has published a commentary over the surtax on Friday. According to the correspondent of the German economic and business daily; the German Minister of Economic Affairs became the servent of particular interests.
Ruth Berschens notes: the small Hungary addressed a challenge to the large German companies. The German journalist points out, that the accusation that Hungary only targets the foreign firms with the surtax is not true. Also the concerned companies are able to wear the three-year tax. After all, after the system change, the Hungarian government gave them very favorable conditions in Hungary where they gained large profits since then. The Hungarian corporate tax rate is 10 percent, even if it will becompleted with the crisis tax, it will be far below the German tax level – reports hirszerzo.hu.
