Euro zone’s compound PMI remained unchanged in April
Euro zone’s compound purchasing managers index in April has not changed compared to the final datas of March; the index of the service sector improved slightly, while the index of the manufacturing industry declined slightly – the Markit research institute announced on Tuesday.
According to the preliminary datas the Euro zone’s compound purchasing managers index was 46.5 points in April, the same as in March. The service manager index increased to its two-month peak to 46.4 points, from the 46.6 points of March, while the manufacturing index has dropped to 46.5 from 46.8 points in March.
The values above 50 points show expansion, the values below 50 indicate a decline. (MTI)
