The mood of German consumers has not changed
Instead of the expected slight deterioration, GfK’s consumer mood index in Germany remained stable in June.
The consumer sentiment mood of the Nuremberg-based Institute for Economic Research was 10.7 points in Germany the same as in the previous month, instead of 10.6 points expected by the markets.
The indicator started this year at 11.0 points and was standing at 10.6 points a year ago, in June 2017. The 11.0 points in January was the highest since the economic crisis in 2002. Previously, in 2001, even 16,80 points were measured. (MTI)
