The companies do not meet the challenge of cyber attacks
Digital transformation has further increased the cyber threat of companies, but companies do not do enough to decrease the risks – the Global Information Security Survey of the EY shows. According to the survey involving around 1,400 leading IT managers and information security experts from 60 countries, more and more organizations are aware of the severity of data protection threats, but they are not spending enough to improve their IT security.
The digital transition of organizations is in progress, and the decision-makers in question, without exception, spend more money on emerging technology solutions than a year before. However, IT expansion also raises IT security threats for companies. Between January and March last year, nearly two billion personal and sensitive data came to unauthorized hands according to EY’s data.
