The tobacco supplier does not infringe EU competition laws
The European Commission will not initiate a procedure on the central tobacco supplier – MTI was informed from sources in Brussels. The European Commission has accepted the Hungarian Government's argument that the operation of the central tobacco supplier does not violate EU competition law.
Neither infringement proceedings nor any other proceedings will be launched by the European Commission Directorate General for Competition in conjunction with the operation of the central tobacco supplier – Lázár János, Minister leading the Prime Minister's Office confirmed. (MTI)
