Wal-Mart doesn't grow its suppliers from China
The retail giant is present with shops in China, but doesn't believes in the product made there.
Wal-Mart said it will continue to
source an estimated $9 billion of manufactured goods from China.
Wal-Mart’s annual China spend has been in that neighborhood for the
past three years.
According to Wal-Mart’s Global
Procurement web site, it sources products from more than 70 countries
via international procurement offices in 23 different countries.
China, which makes many of the clothes,
toys and other products sold by Wal-Mart worldwide, has seen
inflation surge to its highest levels in 11 years.
There may be certain categories of
product that may be decreasing from China, but there are other
categories of products that are increasing from China.
