Not all organic foods are real
We buy organic food, among others, to consciously protect our health from undesirable substances such as plant protection products. The organic word is a guarantee for us that the product is truly free from any hazardous substance. But does this guarantee really 100 percent? – the question is asked by agrarszektor.hu.
The real organic product does not contain any fertilizer and synthetic, toxic material and a real organic product is produced in certified farms under controlled conditions. In an organic-economy only nutrient supply of organic origin can be imagined or only mechanical plant care can be used. In France, the consumption of organic products has doubled in five years; Between 2016 and 2017, the value of organic goods sold increased from 7 billion euros to 8 billion euros. (Agence Bio 2018 February data). It is understandable that consumer organizations are increasingly focusing on this topic.
