Hungarians do not visit Slovakia
There is a lack of Hungarian tourists in the Slovak hotels. According to the datas of the Slovakian Statistical Office; the number of Hungarian tourists decreased by almost 40 percent, in the first half of 2009, from 52 thousand to 32 thousand.
Much less Hungarians, than the average went skiing in the winter to Slovakia. Hotel owners are literally talking about tragedy, because Hungarian tourists seized the significant part of the rooms in the High Tatras. The summer was not better. "We are among those hotels where the majority of the tourists were Hungarian. In July and August, the number of Hungarian reserved rooms in our hotels halved compared to last year "- complained Adam Karlovic, a hotel owner of the Low Tatras – reports MTI Eco after the article of Új Szó.
