Bread will not be cheaper
In roughly two weeks it will turn out if the price of bread will change after the new wheat harvest – Septe József, the president of the Hungarian Baker’s Association told agrarszektor.hu. He added that flour prices have not yet been developed and the flour quality parameters are still not known.
The mills are correcting the flour prices downward for nearly two months. The prices have declined about 10-15 percent since then. The flour market price decline is partly due to the good crop globally, so the wheat procurement prices have fallen 30-40 percent, compared to last year. (agrarszektor.hu)
