The Hungarian Hotel Association sees no reason for optimism
Hungary's hotel industry will not be the winner of the economic recovery. In Hungary the guest traffic is more modest, than in the most important European competitors of the country – told Erdei János, president of the Hungarian Hotel Association to MTI.
Erdei János said, that compared to 2006, , the hotel room capacity, increased by about 9 percent this year, while the rate of high category, more expensive rooms have significantly increased, but the gross average room price decreased by 5.6 percent – reports ProfitLine.hu.
