Chinese tourists are not reluctant to travel
Chinese tourists made 149 million trips and spent 130 billion USD abroad in 2018, according to a statement by the China Tourism Academy.
The number of trips last year increased by 14.7 percent and the amount spent increased by 13 percent, compared to the previous year.
The United Nations World Tourism Organization estimates that by 2030 the number of overseas tourism trips will be more than 1.8 billion globally. China is the world’s fastest growing tourism market and plays a key role in the development of international tourism as an economic sector. (portfolio.hu)
