Breweries would not be able to enter into exclusive distribution agreements
Large producers could not enter into an exclusive contract with distributors for the sale of beer, soft drinks or mineral water – the Legislative Committee of the Parliament approved the initiating proposal of Kósa Lajos (Fidesz).
The petitioner justified his amendment to the bill establishing the budget for next year submitted to the Board on the grounds that the aim is to change the oligopolistic situation in the Hungarian beverage wholesale trade so that domestic producers also have access to the market. (MTI)
