Hungarian hotel industry did not start the year well
On the basis of the datas of the Magyar Hotel Monitor, the Hungarian hotel industry was not able to carry the favorable processes of late 2011 to the new year.
Occupancy datas in the first two months of the year declined, except in the three-star hotels in Budapest, and this process became even more spectacular.
In parallel with the deterioration of the average utilization the average prices also declined, except in the five-star hotels in Budapest, which could exceeded 10-15 percent, compared to the comparable data of the previous year, beside less occupancy. (Turizmus Online)
