The dry spring was bad for oil seeds
The production of all oil seeds decreased this year, but especially rape suffered during the dry spring – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
This is a problem because, as a whole, it is the largest oil seed plant in Europe and the biodiesel industry needs it. The old continent is expected to need more soybean, soy and palm oil, but will need to import more soy flour and grist for feeding purposes as well – USDA analysts said. (agrarszektor.hu)
