The Budapest Charter was not adopted
The 1st World Summit on Sustainable Food has ended in the Buda Castle – told the B. SWAN Partners agency, the communication partner of the event to MTI on Sunday.
The 10th Anniversary World Congress on Meat Inspection and Meat Hygiene was also held in the scope of the six-day event, as well as the annual general meeting of the Hungarian Zoonology Association.
The Budapest Charter served the idea of sustainability. The first draft of the text was discussed on the final day of the World Summit, but so many substantive comments were received, that the participants decided to establish a seven-member international commission, to create the final text – reports Magyar Nemzet Online.
