No change in the price of cereals and grain in general
The second greatest grain-production of history is about to come, but there is no effective demand due to the crisis, so grain-prices are not going to change – Hungarian Agricultural Chamber claims.
The beginning of 2009 saw a significant drop in prices, but most grain-types and cereals have gotten more expensive in March. The rise in prices mainly derived from the weakening of US dollar and the weaking of the US ecomomy. Corn-prices have gone up on the pother hand because of the rise of oil-prices, This year, the second greatest grain-production of history is about to be expected, but there is no effective demand due to the crisis, so grain-prices are not going to change.
