This year’s Persil campaign supports the sport of underprivileged children
The goal of the “Persil for the Children” program is to draw attention to the difficulties of those living in poverty and, with the involvement of civil organizations, to provide assistance to thousands of affected Hungarian families. In the campaign that took place in 2022 and 2023, more than 5,000 households received product donations, providing families in need with enough detergent for 500,000 kg of clean clothes every year. This year, Persil wants to bring “pure joy” to disadvantaged children who, due to the lack of suitable sports equipment, cannot experience free sports.
Over the past two years, Persil has taken up the fight against hygienic poverty with the mission of #cleanclothesforeveryone, ensuring that as many children as possible have access to clean clothes, because they can be discriminated against due to dirty clothes. During 2022 and 2023, the company distributed enough detergent for about 500,000 kg of clean clothes annually in collaboration with the Új Start Foundation, more than 5,000 households in Hungary’s poorest settlements received product donations, more than 40 disadvantaged children received scholarship support, and children struggling with social disadvantages Working to catch up, Biztos Kezdet delivered enough Persil gel for half a year to 176 children’s institutions.
