Single applications can still be submitted for a few days
Farmers can submit their single applications for all direct support and rural development titles until June 10, Minister of Agriculture István Nagy pointed out.

The Minister reminded that, according to data from the Hungarian State Treasury, more than 131 thousand applications have been received so far, but it is important that farmers do not leave the administration to the last minute. The Ministry of Agriculture will also refrain from applying late payment penalties this year. However, the submission deadline has a forfeiture effect, so single applications received after the deadline must be rejected without any substantive examination, he added. He explained that this year, support can be requested for a total of 49 titles and measures, and data provision obligations must be fulfilled.
The Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy, the regulations and calls for tenders have changed, which also affects the submission of single applications
Among other things, the system of rules for conditionality and production-related subsidies and the Agro-ecological Programme (AÖP) have also changed. In the case of the Agri-Environmental Management Programme (AKG) and the Organic Farming (ÖKO) subsidies, farmers can submit payment applications during the period open for submitting the single application – István Nagy listed. The Ministry of Agriculture is committed to ensuring the smooth submission of applications for farmers by using as many means as possible, which is why it is also paying special attention to continuous information during the submission period starting on April 7 this year.
