Forty billion HUF for the development of the wine industry
The Prime Minister's Office published a forty billion HUF call for proposals to support the wine industry – the Minister of State of the Prime Minister's Office announced on Tuesday in Budapest at a press conference.
Kis Miklós Zsolt recalled that in the previous budget period of the EU (2007-2013) there was no specific framework for the development of the wine industry. In the current EU budget cycle originally 20 billion HUF support was earmarked for the support of the sector under the Rural Development Programme. But after consultation with professional associations and because of the great demand, the Prime Minister's Office has doubled this amount. (MTI)
