British inflation on a forty years peak
Annual British inflation has accelerated in April for a four decades peak.
According to a report by the British Bureau of Statistics (ONS) on Wednesday, the twelve-month consumer price index (CPI) excluding housing costs rose 9 percent last month after rising 7 percent in March.
In April, consumer prices rose 2.5 percent month-on-month. (Kertész Róbert, MTI)
